After a wash - the driver's side mirror stopped folding automatically when the car locks (the passenger one still did) and then hours later the passenger mirror stopped folding too. Any thoughts as to why?

Use the buttons to fold and unfold them a couple times. Then it should work. It probably got knocked out of position in the wash.

are the power folding mirrors part of an option package? or standard after 2012?

 

no idea - mine likely came with a package.
