Spark Plug Well Swimming In oil
Hello I have a Volvo s60 2002. I have two of the 5 spark plug well full of oil. I did notice there was oil to under the cover when I remove it to get access to the plugs. I used a shop towel and clean all the oil up on top and in the wells. After that process, I did change all the plugs since I was there. I can not get the car to start now. I was wondering maybe what fuse to check if something got shorted while there was oil in the well. My daughter was driving it when it quit. When I got it home on a flat bed truck is when I found the oil in the well. I checked the timing belt it looks ok.
Any help would be appreciated..
Thanks Jerry

The oil may be a result of either a failed oil cap seal and / or the need to service your PCV system.
A clogged PCV can also cause camseal, rear main seal failures due to the build up of crankcase pressure in the engine.
A glove test over the oil cap opening with the engine running will indicate that.
Glove shoud suck inwards if all is good but will inflate if the PCV needs attention.
When you removed your plugs did any oil run down into the cylinders at all?
The engine may be a bit oiled up hence the reluctance to start now.
Check your wires and injectors are correctly fitted.
