Hello, I recently purchased a 2007 Volvo S60 2.5T. Pretty nice looking car but the interior was disgusting. Pretty much everywhere the previous owner touched, had grey gunk stuck on that did not come off with typical cleaner. The steering wheel was the biggest mess to clean.
I removed the air bag and the part the air bag clips into (cruise control and volume control switches), and proceeded to steam the gunk off of the wheel. Shortly after the horn started beeping and then it eventually just stayed on.
My only guess is that the clock spring got some moisture in it, but I figure I would see what you guys think.
