stiff steering

Default stiff steering
bougt a 07 s60
steering is stiif
also when I am backing with the steering turned extreme left or right, it makes noise and feels like getting stuck up
what might be the cause?

Have you checked the power steering fluid level?

got the fluid checked by mechanic and says its fine
