Sunroof stopped responding
So this afternoon I got into my S60 and tried to open the sunroof and NOTHING HAPPENED. Its wierd because I had it openend this morning and it shut just fine. now its as if the fuse is bad but its not. when I use the switch I hear no noise either, should I expect to hear the click of a relay? If its the motor I thought I would hear the relay 'click' but I dont. Maybe a bad switch? Maybe an electrical connection?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Yes, oddly enough I did get the alarm service message about a day before the sunroof stopped responding. How do the two relate? My post after this one was regarding the alarm service message.
You need to reinitialize the UEM, put the Key in the drivers door, turn it to lock then unlock twice. if you cant get it done pull into the dealers service drive, ask a guy to renitialize the UEM for ya, they'll do it for free. takes like 5secs..
If alarm siren is bad can cause the sunroof module to stop working because they are all in the same network. By re-initializing CAN network is just a temporarily fix as I've seen in the past the best thing is to fault trace the network circuitfor the Sunroof and alarm siren.
kinda hard to diaginose a can system w/out vida and when you dont know the system. The best way to tell if the Alarm siren is or isnt working. is to push to alarm button on the remote. If it sounds it is working properly
