I just had my 2001 T5 taken into to have the oil changed but i recieved a call from the dealership saying that the transmission fluid was extremely low and that the gears were slipping when the mechanic drove it. Now the gears are starting to slip more often and the check engine light has gone on. I was wondering if there is anything i can do or if i will have to replace the entire transmission and i f i do how much will it cost?
Thanks, Chris

Geartronic trans? I would wager so.
Seems like your car is at the dealership currently. So why are you asking an internet forum with no specific knowledge of your car problems, to suggest a course of action?
Dealer will tell you how much and how to fix it. Or take it to an INDY and they will do the same.
