I have just rolled over 120,000 on my '01 V70 T5 and have been having problems since before it turned over 100K. Are there known issues with the transmission? I'm trying to decide whether to fix it (hasn't been nearly as good as the '90 Turbo Wagon that I've still got). Also, thinking about either an XC70 or XC90...Can anyone tell me the differences in transmission, if any, and if the newer models have less/more problems generally. Thanks for all your help. IMO I would fix the one you have.

The AWD cars are the same trans with the angle gear bolted on.
