Default TAC and ETM

Hello I am new to the forum, I have a few questions if anyone knows! I have a few lights on in my 01 s60 non-turbo and I picked up a code reader and this is what I got: P2101 TAC throttle actuated control motor and P1610 ETM. I have done some research on this forum and noticed that the ETM is warrantied by Vovlo and can be replaced at the dealer for free? So my Question is are these to issues connected at all? I ordred the TAC from volvo 2 1/2 hours away for $651, would it be smart to take to dealership first before I replace the TAC? Thanks in Advance, Josh

I would have them look at it. Better yet have them check the Vin# and see if there is any open recalls. There is software they install before replacing the throttle body.
