Default Throttle body

So I read on another forum that the 2003 s60 took the Bosch ETA throttle body which is programmed by turning the key to POS ll for 40 seconds. Is this true or would I still need to take it to the dealer to get the throttle body programmed?

The bosch throttle bodies are plug and play. No download needed like to 99-01(04 some cars) Italian modules do.

However - very rarely is there is problem with a Bosch throttle - if they malfunction it's usually a connection problem (yes, you can have throttle codes that are misinterpreted) and is fixed (either after unneeded throttle replacement or before) by replacing part of the wiring connectors at the throttle housing. Volvo has a service solution (new wires) for that fix.

I have a throttle body that I got from the junkyard but I got a little of water in it. Do you reckon that it still works?
