I would like some sort of roof rack for bike and skis. I don't fee like spending $500 at REI for a new setup. Found this on Craigslist, but very little detail. I was hoping somebody with experience with Thule could identify if this would work given the proper mounting hardware adapters. It doesn't look like the newest "feet" type, and I don't know if this is meant to go on existing roof rails or directly to the body / clamp. The width is about right (50") from what I've seen online. Haven't found detailed answers on Thule web site or retailers specific for S60. I guess worst case I can reuse the bars if they're still compatible with latest mounting feet. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Thule set that came with my S60 parts car that I don't use. They have been used but removed prior to me getting it. All I know is that it's meant to mount in the rain channel on the roof. I can take a picture of the feet for you once I get home if you like (for reference).

I owned a 2008 S60 T2.5 and I bought the roof racks. I traded her in for a 2012 which uses a different system. I was selling this on Craigs List a few months ago and there were two interested people -- both of them blew me off when it came time to meet for the sale.

In the ad, I have a close up photo of the interface of roof rack and the diagram that is inside the flared cover. That detail will give you an idea of what it should look like. By the way, the older S60 roof rack system is much better than the new one. The older one was very easy to use, and it didn't require any tools like the new one does.
