Default Timing Belt Interval

As the owner of a S80 I replaced the timing belt at 105,000 miles. I'm reading ViDA for my new addition, the S60. It states to change the belt at 120,000 miles (192,000km)! Or ten years!
Anyone follow this suggestion?
Also, spark plugs every 60,000 miles?

I'd get the timing belt done between 60-70K miles. There's a thread on here that shows belts at 60-70K and they're already looking pretty bad.

As for spark plugs, i'd do them every 30K, just for peace of mind.

As an owner of a 03 S60 with 118k i don't use Volvos intervals any more they also say oil changes every 7500 miles. To me thats far to to long. I did my Timing belt ,belt tensioner and pulley along with the water pump at 100k and i would not advise anyone to wait longer than 105k. I did the water pump because the belt has to be removed to do it and the cost is minimal for the pump. Its not the belt that fails it is the belt tensioner most times that goes .As far as the spark plugs i do them every 30k.Most S60 owners do oil every 3500-4000 and the timing belt at 100k and spark plugs at 30k.
