Default Timing Belt Locking Tools

I own a 2006 Volvo S60 with 94,000 miles on it. I figured its about time to replace my timing belt, water pump, etc. I was planning on buying a locking tool for the camshafts so they don't become unaligned. My question is do I really need a crankshaft locking tool too? Has anyone done a timing belt job on the 5 cylinder with just locking the camshafts? I plan on buying the camshaft locking tool that is seen in the picture. Just wanted to know if I really need a crankshaft locker

If you are just doing the belt, you don't need any locking tools.

I know you don't NEED the locking tool but I know you can't mess up the timing to the camshafts. Wouldn't this tool just make that easier? This is my first timing belt job.

It makes more work that isn't necessary. Line up the marks, remove the belt, idler and tensioner. Install everything, adjust tensioner and you're done.
