Default Timming Belt - Aprox cost to have done?

Interested to know what others have paid to get this done? Is it tough to do on your own?

Pertaining to the belt....What parts do I need besides the obvious belt. T-belt tensioner to? I understand the timing marks are tough to see.

In other words, what rough spots can I expect to hit if I do it my self?

you will need the t-belt, t-belt tensioner, t-belt idler pulley
Also while in there do the S-belt and possibly the water pump

mine cost me $200 labour (without changing water pump), I paid for all the parts

changing the water pump is a MUST - they are only rated at 150k miles so that means you essentially have to do the job again in 25-50k miles instead of just doing it right, once, the first time.

I had my indy shop do mine and it was about $700 with parts and labor. I considered doing it myself but since it is my wifes DD it thought i would have them do it. Definitely do the water pump. Mine was seeping at 111k. I called the dealer before having it done the the service rep said they don't have issues with their water pumps so i shouldn't need to be changed (BS).

Just ordered the Gates kit from Rock Auto which in includes all the pulleys and tensioners, belt and water pump for $179.00. Verdict is still out as to weather or not I'm going to do it myself though.

My car has 109K on it and I'm getting nervous. If anyone knows someone in the Chicago area that does this work reasonably priced, let me know.

Anyone know anything about a camshaft seal?? Will I need this?? And if so, which one?
