My 2005 automatic transmission s60 makes a clunk noise when I hit the gas. It happens at all speeds, usually when I've been coasting along (no gas) and then I want to accelerate. There is a notable clunk noise.

Everything else is fine. The transmission was flushed at 60,000 miles, car has 95,000 on it now.

Any ideas what might be up with it?

 

Hello, I saw this post because I have a similar issue with my car. I know this post is old but I hope you can receive this message. Did you find out what was the noise? If so, did you fix it? How?

It I recall it was a the transmission mount that was a little loose. I think it was fixed pretty cheaply - it doesn't do it anymore.
