What is the recommended interval for changing the transmission fluid in my 2002 S60?

 

I change mine every 5000 miles with the oil. The local volvo shop mechanic I use said that the filter is not servicable with the tranny in the car. It only drains about 4 quarts when I drain it and the tranny seems to be shifting smoother since I started doing this a few changes ago. My car has 157k on it and drives better than it did 2 years ago.
