Transmission Slip ... or DSTC?
Help?
I have a 2005 S60 2.5T with about 98k. Car is in great shape and my wife loves it. This is our second Volvo ... we had a 1999 S80 T6 until we got his car. I did a LOT of work on the S80 with oil leaks, etc.
When accellerating either from a stop or while at speed, it seems like the tranny is slipping ... but it feels and sounds like the traction control is kicking in. I know this was an issue with the S80 ABS module and I sent it off to be rebuilt and the problems went away on the S80.
Can anyone help with suggestions?
Can the 2005 S60 ABS/DSTC module be rebuilt like the S80.
