Hey guys,

I've seen a LOT of posts about the trim moulding along either side of the roof failing after having a windshield replaced. That has happened to me as well. The trim moulding is still attached, just not very securely. I can hear it flapping sometimes while I'm driving. The one thing I HAVEN'T been able to locate is how to install these trim pieces properly. I see where I can buy the clips (assuming they were broken by the installer), and I have seen posts on how to remove it carefully, but not how to install it carefully. I would assume there must be some trick to doing it right because the damn things get busted by nearly every windshield installer out there. Anyone have any tips on doing this?
