Only in the winter when I am going up a hill or incline that demands traction the motor sputters and looses it's rpm and dies. This does not happen up steep I clones in the summer spring or fall. Only on snow covered roads? I and the mechanic at Volvo are scratching our heads. Any suggestions

Its traction control engaging. It will cut power if wheels slip. The cure is high grade tires...or turn off traction control. or both.
