Default 2002 S60 Evap Emissions trouble code

Hello

I'm getting a trouble code for a leak in the evaporative emissions system.
My mechanic andI are having trouble finding the test port to use the smoke gereator to find the leak.
Could anyone point me to the test port location, and does anyone know about a service bulletin or recall for the evap emissions software in the computer?
Car is a 2.5 non turbo

thanks

Not sure about the smoke generator thing, but sometimes these types of codes are due to a leaky gas cap. You may want to get the exact code to know for certain what the problem might be. Maybe a purge valve, evap. canister or hose/fitting ??? The code will be a big help in narrowing down the cause of the problem.

Just unplug the hose at the evap valve and put the smoke in there.

Trouble code shows a "large leak in the evap system".

There should be a test port in the system somewhere, but I'll be darned if I can find it.

Maybe someone can steer me to a diagram of the system?

I'd try the suggestion of testing at the valve. Where can that be found?

The valve is mounted to the cooling fan under the hood.
If not there it might be under the intake. If it is under the intake go under the car by the rear subframe bolt on the passenger side. The hose might be split there if not cut it then join back later with a rubber hose.
