I am going to replace the vent box on my 01 s60 non turbo pretty soon and was wondering if anyone had a write up or diagram to help me through the process. This site has been extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem. It whines after driving for awhile and then when I pull the dipstick it stops and there is suction from the dipstick tube. I am not the most mechanically gifted but I can follow directions and have a buddy that is a grease monkey to help. Thanks for the help guys.

I replaced the vent box and it was pretty simple. No more whistling noise and the rough idle is gone as well. Glad I didnt take it somewhere to have done.
