Hi all,

I'm considering purchasing a car (v60 awd) and have the VIN to get some info about the car, but it's not working on the forum's volvo VIN decoder, and on other decoders it's giving me strange information (like its a 740, because volvo re-used the F code, and its engine number is supposedly 90, but thats a 2.8L in the s80, even though the platform code is W, which is a v60 awd, and the owner is claiming either 3.0 T6 or p*, so the 90 should be either 99 or A9).

Anyway, my question is, can anyone help me out? the VIN is YV1FW90H6E1173813, its from an australian delivered car that was made in belgium if thats of any assistance. Just trying to figure out what I'm buying, as owner is claiming it is a v60 polestar, but its red (they came in blue black sivler and white), and its got the 2015 facelift front splitter, and has no rear wing, no sharkfin, and 19" ixion, not 20" polestar rims.

It has the Polestar software. That is different than the Polestar engineered cars that have different rims, brakes, suspension, etc. 90 is indeed the engine code. It is a B6304T4.
