volvo s60 2.0 t s 2001. my steering wheel controls are not working, (horn, cruise control, radio) the wheel also make a 'clicking noise' everytime it is turned.

I also have the message 'SRS-Airbag Service Urgent' and airbag light on. Any help greatly appreciated!!!

 

Did you figure this out? I have the same problem with my 2003 S80.

 

I've seen 2 possible causes that cause those concerns. The first and the least expensive is the clockspring fails and causes everything on the strong wheel to not work. The second one is the steering wheel module ( SWM) fails. You need to go and get the codes read.

 

Mine was the clock spring. The steering wheel made a clicking noise whenever it was turned. I just bought a second hand reconditioned one for 30 quid and fitted it, so it may be cheaper to chance it than get the codes read.

Wasn't too difficult to fit, have to remove the airbag and steering wheel. Just make sure u disconnect battery etc and are careful when you handle the airbag. There's plenty of how to's on here but I used a Haynes manual.
