Default Volvo s60 2001 Climate Control Module dead !!! FIX !!!

Hello !

I had to register and post here just because today when I had to remove the battery from my car to some service I noticed that the CCM (climate control panel) went dead after I put the battery back in, what followed were all the tricks in the book with opening and closing the doors several times, disconnecting the - terminal and uniting it with plus terminal, none of the ways I found in the forums did work. I noticed that this is a problem that quite many have and people recommend taking it to the dealership and reflashing software or even changing the unit all together. Before u do this u may want to check out this video I found on youtube and all credit goes to this guy for saving my day.

CCM FIX:

I am not sure if this fix will work if u have a working thermocouple (the wire which measures the temperature of your cabin air), In my case the wire was broken.

In case the author of this video sees this, THANK YOU

If it is possible to sticky this I am sure it will help alot of people trying to get their CCM to work on s60, v70 and I think most of the volvos from this period.
