Volvo S60 2003 D5 Won't start
Heya as the title says my 2003 Volvo s60 D5 wont start and i kinda need help its my first time on forums and i need some insight on what the issue might be.
I have replaced the high pressure fuel pump, fuel rail pressure sensor, checked the fuel pump that is inside the tank which works perfectly fine.
I also resorted and changing the ECM which is located in the engine compartment. still no luck im starting to give up on the car with all the frustrations it caused
i am also kind of sad since it was a fun daily driver.
so the issue first started in the loss of power when hitting the gas pedal the car would start stalling if it went above 2-3k rpm
it fixed itself after the car was set for a day or just by turning the ignition off and turning the car back on.
but recently the car died while my sister was driving and it wouldnt start again.
It runs on starter fluid but thats about it.
it seems that the fuel injectors arent opening because diesel is running up to the injectors themselves perfectly fine and under pressure.
I really need help because i dont want to scrap the car and dont want to keep blowing money on it when my finances are quite low as is
not to mention the car is needed for me to go to school and work since im still studying. thanks for reading and i hope someone might help me out with this.
