Default volvo s60 cluster issue

my 2003 volvo s60 has a bad issue with the cluster. it works and it doesnt work. what i mean is that the cluster shuts off. it doesnt work about 90 percent of the time. ANY SUGGESTIONS!

I had same issue with my 2003. Had to replace the cluster...not cheap, either. About a grand...ouch!

Jonathan what cluster r u talking about. How many miles on the clock? U need to be more specific. Are there DTCs or chk. engine light.

what do you mean i need to be more spacific. THe is only one cluster in any car since they were first built. not to be mean but you should not be giving anyone any advice if you think there are more than one cluster. Not to be mean. The ponly cluster in the car in the one you look at everytime you sit in your car. The clock miles and everything your thinking of is in the cluster. that whole big object you stare at when your in your car. you know the one with the miles, rpm, speedo, fuel, check engine, etc. yeah that is the cluster. hell thats why the call it a CLUSTER!
