Quick question, what type of oil are folks using here for their Volvo V60s? I want to make sure my wife (who drives our V60) is maintaining her car correctly and am wondering if anyone is going with a choice outside what's in the owner's manual, especially synthetic vs non-synthetic.

 

Your oil choice really needs to be made based on how long/many miles you keep your cars. Less than 10 years/150,000 miles then use a quality regular oil at the 7,500 mile interval. The engine should be the least of your worries. If you are planning for 250,000 miles + then use full synthetic. JMO of course.

Do not use regular oil. See your owner's manual. It requires synthetic (assuming this is a US model)
