2005 Volvo S60 2.5 Turbo - 60K

Drove it, looks quite good and runs great. KBB and Edmunds give it a value of about $11,500 - $12,000. Car only has one key/remote, so right off the bat I need to spend around $400 for another one of those.

On top of this, it's a lien sale which is a headache. Guy is reputable so I'm confident it will work out, so I offer $11,800 to take the sting out of the extra key purchase, and he says absolutely no lower than $12,000. I won't budge either.

Who's being more petty? Can't decide if I should cave-in or just look around for something else. Loved that wooden steering wheel . . .

 

That's a bit pricey, for $12k you could do much better, a T5 or an R. I paid $12.5K for a '07 2.5T 18 mos ago with 70K miles.
