Just recently purchased a 2001 S60 base, and it makes a strange noise when you step on the gas. It seems to be coming from underneath, around the pedals. I checked the air intake / hoses but can't figure it out. very annoying

 

Brake booster? oil trap? pull the dipstick out just a bit and see if it does it.
