It has to be recalibrated. It is easy to do: 1. Engage the auto-down function and remove fuse 11C/5 (for driver's side) or 11C/4 (for passenger side) (located in the driver's side dash fusebox) during window movement.

2. Install fuse back into position.

3. Engage the auto-up function and hold it engaged for 5 seconds after the window has reached the fully closed position.

4. Verify window is now working properly.

5. If this procedure does not work, a scan tool that can access the Passenger Door Module (PDM) and Drivers Door Module (DDM) will be needed.
--------
The auto up or down function will be engaged if the button is pulled to the second step. The first step is for manual operation. This procedure can be used for driver and passenger windows.

2002-2007 All Volvo Models:

The service reminder indicator lamp illuminates for 120 seconds when the ignition is first switched on.

1. Insert key and turn Ignition Switch to position I (position one).

2. Press and hold in the reset button for the trip odometer.

3. Turn the Ignition switch to position II (within 2 seconds).

4.Hold the reset button for the trip meter pressed in until the original trip counter value blinks and is redisplayed.
(For all vehicles, for 2003- a general yellow lamp will light when the reset button must be released).

5. Release the reset button for the trip odometer within 4 seconds. The instrument gives an audible signal when resetting has succeeded
If the trip meter is already reset, the reset button should be held in for a minimum of 10 seconds and a maximum of 14 seconds.
If the reset button for the trip odometer is not released within 4 seconds, the service reminder indicator (SRI) is not reset.
