18x8 rims
hey everyone. i just got a 1998 s70 glt.
i changed the front/rear shocks and springs
i bought 18x8 offset 38 rims for it
today i jacked the car up and put on the rims i just bought just to see if everything would clear
the rim fits fine but im worried when i put the tired on the rim will it rub against my shocks?
will spacers help?
also, there is a bolt on the middle of the roter/hub? that is sticking out and making me not be able to put on the center cap on the rims i just bought. will spacers help that too?
will 18x8 rims effect my turning or rub?
and what tire size do you guys recommend?
thanks !

RE: 18x8 rims
1. Do not cut that "bolt" off.
a. It is there for a reason, as it goes into your stock rims.
b. If it is anything like my 850 was it just screws off.
c. it isn't needed for aftermarket rims however if you want to use it, you will have to drill a hole into your aftermarket rims for it to go into.
d. Spacer wont help this. So just unscrew it or drill a hole in each rim for it to go into.
2. At full lock either way you may rub, this is just what happens when you go to an 18" rim and tire combo.
Spacers may or may not help with rubbing issues.
