How many miles can I expect out of a tank of premium fuel? I have driven about 150miles and the guage is reading at the 12 gallon mark.

anywhere between 400 -500 miles/tank

I topped it off with 8 gallons yesterday I had driven 193 miles at the time of fill up... So I assume that the lower end of the guage must move slower then the top half? By my calculations I will get 409miles out of a tank of mixed driving... Not too bad.. But would you consider that average?
