Question 1998 S70 "R" front bumper?

Just purchased my son a silver 1998 S70 T5 from the original owner with 118k miles and no accidents. Unfortunate the front bumper has suffered from a low impact. This will require the front bumper shell to be either replaced from the impact flex or reconditioned (painted).

My question is, I'm thinking about getting V70 "R" front bumper shell. Will the "R" bumper shell attach to the existing energy absorber? What other "gotchas" will I face?

I just ordered a stage 0 kit from IPD. Latter this week I will be getting the T5 buffed out and the carpets shampooed. Besides the T5 engine, is there anything else that separates this from the other models?

Thank you!

Looks like the fog lights are different in the "R" bumper.
