I'm getting a noise from my air pump. Air pump goes on in key position 2 and stays on when I start the car.I'm getting a P0410 code. I just changed the air pump with no difference. Changed ignition switch no help. Air pump relay was changed also.

I have never had to work on mine. If it's ground switched it may be the wire to the ECM rubbed against something and got contact to ground.

 

IT turned out to be the motor for the drivers side headlight wiper was stuck on. I started looking for a bad plug wire around that area. I took out the plug for the air pump and the noise stayed on.
Good news. So I will still have a P0410 code. I'll start on that next.
