1999 S70 IGN.LOCK
Hello group,nice to meet you all my name is Rob. I would like to know ifa softwear down load is neccessary when the
ignition lock is replaced. I now have ignition switch unplug-
ged and car starts. Ignition switch only turns to position #1

It will be a little bit of a pain.
You are supposed to drill and easy out them.
But I usually take a chisel and cut around the shear off bolt and break the aluminum out so it comes off.
But you also have to be careful some of the new ones don't come with the top half anymore.
