Default 2000 S70 Steering Gear leak

I have steering fluid leaking from under the car. The boots are toast as I can see the tie rod in places. The passenIger side is oil wet. I am assuming the steering gear is leaking.

Rebuilding the steering gear would save me quite a few $'s. Having not done this before with a rack/pinion, I was wondering how big a job it is. I'm pretty mechanically handy so I am assuming if I can get some instrcutions from somewhere I could probably do this. The unit doesn't look too hard to remove (not sure about hte piping).

Anyone have experience with this? Instructions?

A new unit comes with inner ball joints but the cost is better than $200 reman. after core.

Either way the unit has to be removed. Also, any advice fro removal from someone who's done it would be appreciated.
