Default 98 S70 Door Panel

I want to remove my wifes door panel as the lock doesn't lock the door. I started to remove it etc. found 1 screw and started snapping it out, the panel doesn't seem to just snap toward the hinges.
I stoped don't want ot wreck it. Any help would be appreciated. I have taken many door panels off but this one is scary.
thanks in advance .
Rookie on here.

After you have removed the screw. You need to remove the inner door handle trim ring. Then pull from the bottom of the door panel first pull towards you .That is if you are between the car and the door.Be careful the glue they used on the door panels is probably coming apart.Just be careful or it might come all the way apart.

Having just replaced the window/lock switch panel, I took the door panel off a few times. All that's needed is to remove the screw and trim piece like tech mentioned. When you're prying the door panel off I'd recommend getting a trim panel removal tool so you don't snap any fasteners. They're 1.68 each or so at Volvo, and you won't find any at Kragen/Checkers/Schucks Autozone Pep Boys etc.
