Hi, I have a '98 S70 T5/auto and recently the flashing up arrow occurred along with the CEL. I went to Autozone and got the P0123 code. Now, I know this indicates TPS but I was reading another thread that was describing the transmission not shifting until he lets off the gas pedal and it was suggested it could be the PNP switch. I'm kind of new to all this but I was researching info on TPS's and from what I read, it is usually described at puttering or cutting out when trying to accelerate, which is not my problem.
My symptoms:
-My car goes through all the gears but wont shift until very high RPM or sooner if I left off the gas.
-When I first start my car in the morning, it idles high at 2k for a few minutes but after that it idles low at around 500 and rarely almost dies.

Can the PNP switch throw the P0123 code?
