Default 99 S70 GLT Tire Sizing Question

Planning on redoing the suspension on my S70 and it is likely going to lower the car by about an inch all around. Should fit the stock tires no problem but I am wondering how much bigger I can go without getting a rub.

Right now I have 195/60/15.

I also live in Chicago so if anyone can recommend a performance tire that can handle the snow that'd be a big plus for me. I would prefer to not have to switch between snow and summer, but if I must...

Are you considering getting larger rims?

More than likely. Nothing over 17. Looking for a performance all season tire.

Looking at a set of Continental ExtremeContact DSWs.

They measure in at 205/45/17.

If the car goes down an inch, are these going to rub the wheel wells on the front when I turn?

Should not rub. Do get 215's though. A lot better ride.

Not sure if you saw the other thread I posted, but I was looking today and I am not so sure that 215s can go on my car. I am going to call around to a few places and see if anyone will just put one on there to test it out this weekend.
