99 s70 problems
Hello to all and thanks in advance for your future help
I purchased a 99 Volvo s70 2.4 non turbo with a blown motor and put a new motor in it and got it running last night. I quickly found out about the whole etm ets deal ( forgive me if I got those wrong....I'm new) it would rev hunt then idle with a miss and not rev up, throwing codes like crazy. So I switched the ETS i thinks thats what its called (throttle body) from the one on the new motor back to the one from the original motor and reset all the codes. Now it is not throwing any codes at all and it doesn't miss. What it does do when you start it it revs to around 3,000 rpms then rev hunts but does run smooth on all 5 cylinders. There is no check engine light on, no ets light, the only lights that are on is a service light, and a coolant light, but it is not low on coolant.......I checked 5 times. I attempted to drive the car and as soon as I put it in drive it idled down and ran smooth but it had zero power and would not rev up at all it seemed kind of like a limp mode. Any suggestions?
could this be PCV system related, MAF sensor, IAC motor, ect?
I have a video on my phone of it running that I will be happy to send to anyone via txt or email if that would help you diagnose my issue.
Thanks, Brandon
