Hello All

Anyone know how to determine what type of steering system is on this car. I cant find the service tag nor can I tear it down without having the parts in hand. It has a manufactured date of 8/98. It uses the 2 bolt lower control arm. It is 2 wheel drive.

the problem is that I can't determine if it has TRW or SMI rack

 

I didn't know there was a difference. When I just searched ipd they didn't mention any difference.
Steering Rack P80 850 C70 V70 S70 FWD

 

the TRW is 14 x 1.5 thread and the other is 16 x 2, or there abouts.
