Default ABS control problem?

I have had the ABS control repaired so now the ABS light no longer comes on, however I still feel intermittent pulsing and hard braking pressure when I brake. I can also hear the clicking that I feel in the brake pedal. This occurs maybe once a week. Do I need to replace the ABS controller again?

I would guess you have something going on with the mechanical brakes especially if the light is not coming on. When you say "pulsing" are you meaning like a brake vibration or a false ABS activation?

When does this happen? What you described sounds like the ABS system when it kicks in. If you've never had a car with ABS, it is a little unsettling at first. Does it make the sound and noise under normal braking, or does it happen under slippery conditions (snow, gravel roads), or under extremely hard braking? If so, it is normal. Just thought I would ask the obvious before you spend any more money.
