i have just purchase my first volvo s70 all wheel drive wagon, When it is first started up in the morning all is well until about 20 minutes into driving it. I will come to my first stop then i will take off and i will notice a small bump from the engine, First thing i notice is the brake and abs light comes on then i lose speedo and then the tach and odometer goes out, then it runs bad. if I cycle the key it my tach and odometer will return but the engine at times will lose three cylinders at the same time with only 2 firing. Now something into what i have found when this happens i will lose all communication with ecm and abs module my scanner can not talk with them it is like i lose data link with them. when it cools i can pull all codes, note when i pull them i will get about 8 codes dealing communication problems with throttle module, ecm module and abs module. I have solderer the abs problems and replaced the tcm with a digital unit from xemodex. Thanks for ru help.
