Exclamation ABS/Tracs Please Help

Hi,

Everyone once in a while in the last three weeks my ABS light and Tracs Off light will come on simultaneously but once I restart the engine it will not come on again. It has happened twice now, the first being in the rain. I was curious what it could be. If it is the ABS module, am I better off disabling the ABS system? How would I do that? I am mechanically inclined but dumb when it comes to cars sorry for the ignorance.

Thanks a lot for your time!

I would just send it out and have it rebuilt for about $100.00.

It is always a possibility but I doubt it.
I have only ever replaced one bad sensor and replaced about 200 ABS modules.
You can do a visual inspection on the sensor and wiring.

If you had the proper equiptment then you could see if the sensor is working.

I had the same thing happening on my wife's 99 s70. a few years ago and Tech told me about Victor Rocha and how he fixes them. It worked great for me. you can search for Victor and see if he still fixes the ABS units. good luck
