Default AC Problem-Looks like compressor is not spinning?...

I've located the injection control unit on ebay for much cheaper then retail which is good...

I looked at it again today before i went out and with the car running and I looked (with the AC turned off) and obviously it was stopped. When I turned on the AC and the blower and i went to look, it did not look like the compressor was spinning at all. I'm assuming the outer part of the clutch would be spinning. I tried to nudge it with a wrench like i was previously instructed but nothing happened. So in my mind that either means that there is a fault somewhere with the electrical part of the compressor or it's not getting the signal from the injection control unit (ECU) in the first place.... Any other thoughts, or what should I do. We've replaced the high side switch and still nothing It would be much cheaper for me to get the Unit and place it in the car then to purchase a new compressor or even get it reshimmed. I don't want to do the shimming myself because I don't trust me skills that far for taking it off the vehicle then connecting it again...

Make sure there's actually enough refrigerant in there, then check the LOW pressure switch. I think those fail more often. Then check all wiring, etc. before replacing the computer... that's the least likely cause, really.

Well I went back yesterday and swapped out the ecu in my car for the one in their loaner car and everything seemed to work fine! I have heard of this problem a couple times but not very often... so the signal is not getting from the ecu to the compressor w. my ecu but w. the other one, it worked great. The first time I took it in and had them look at it, they said the refrigerant levels were fine.

If it works with theirs and not yours then yours is bad.
