AC works great but....
I have a volvo s70 - it has 400K but I couldn't quite on this car.
AC works greate for 10 - 15 min then compressor goes off (I check the power wire to compressor and it gives 0 voltage at that time compressor goes off). I have to keep the AC OFF for 5 - 10 min before I can use them again. What could be the problem ? Is it pressure switch ? How do I test pressure switch is good or bad ? Can I change pressure switch by myself with out put freon agian ? Where is pressure switch located ? I know my car is not low in freon.
When I connected a 12 V wire directly to compressor and it seems to work find. Is there any danger by doing this ? I can have a switch to control - can I do that ?
Thanks in advance.

I am having a similar situation with my S70 Turbo which is not very much appreciated here in the South during the Summer. Have you been able to rectify the issue? I will go from nice cool air to vent after 1-15 minutes as well and then I will turn the AC button on and off while driving and sometimes it will kick back on. I want to get a little more education on this prior to taking it in so I don't get hammered with extra costs I don't need to spend.
