I am a new member as i just picked up my first Volvo (S70 T5). The previous owner gave me the remote for the keyless entry but it looks like he might of ran over it with his car! I am thinking of buyer one from ebay or another place and i was wondering if it is true that i can program it myself with the "on , off trick 5 times" ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as i have looked around in the forum but cant seem to find anyone with a 98 s70 having the same problem.
If it is possible, please let me know and what are the exact steps to take in order to get it to work.

Won't work on your car.
The Dealer needs to Program it.
