Default blend door motors

1998 S70 GLT
I have the dreaded ECC blinking lights.
AC on there cold air on the left and warm air on the right thru whatever vents I switch to.
Heat on there is cool air on the left and hot air on the right thru whatever vents I switch to.
The blower motor is strong.
There are no odd noises anywhere.
I do not know if I should, but I feel nothing with my hand on the right motor as I minipulate the controls. Should I?

I have done numerous searches and have yet to find a definitive answer to the following questions.
Does the left side motor singuralry control the left side only?
I see the stub on the right motor rotating w/a change in which vent I choose.

The climate control sensor appears that the motor is not rotating. I have shot the sensor w/canned pressure and it appears fairly clean.

So, big question:how do I diagnose in a linear way to solve this issue?

Thank you and all replies are welcomed,
Tommy

If the ECC lights are blinking - then you have codes. What codes are present? Have you tried to erase them?

Great question and I should placed in the original post.
The climate control sensor was unplugged when the scan was done.

What codes came back first after clearing them? And your scan is for a 2000 model not a 1998. What year is your car?

Did the ECC change during the 3 year model run.
If so, I will take it back and have codes run and cleared.
Any other thought on my issues?
Thanks and have a great day,
Tommy
