Default blower fan died, how expensive

my fan for ac/heat has been making a odd noise lately, today it died. i did start the car up later and it came on still making an odd noise. the same thing happened about 4 or 5 years ago and i was told it would never work again, we let it go and a week later it was fine for over 4 years.

how expensive is this to fix?

Default I hate when no one answers

Mine went out last winter I got aftermarket fan from rockauto for around $100. It is easy to change; take out the glove box drop the trim under the glove box and the fan is right there against the firewall, you will need a torx driver to get the screws out for the trim and I think a 10MM socket to remove the fan. There is a video some where on the web that shows how to do it but I don't have the link. Good luck! Hope I'm not to late to help you.
