The other night, I went to shut the driver door on my S70 and it would only close about halfway. I put more and more pressure on it until it finally closed. I re-opened it and it did the same thing. I looked over the hinges and whatnot and decided the door stop had seized. Took the door panel off and removed the door stop. It did appear to be seized and the mounting bracket was broken (apparently a common issue)...not a big deal. Then I noticed where the lower bolt hole on the door is bent and broke. Is there a fix for this aside from getting a new door from the local pull-a-part? An easy fix would be great!

I tried to attach a couple pics. One of the door stop and one of the door. Hopefully they work.

 

Repace door stop. Use a piece of 1/4in aluminum to back the broken hole, tap it for the door stop. Attach the piece of aluminum to door with JB Weld or 2 small sheet metal screws also.
