Default A/C Hose Burst!

I am missing the middle plastic cover on the bumper of my 99 s70 t5 that covers the hose from the compressor to the condensor i think it is, today I hit bump and the hose burst, spewing out r134a everywhere, I took the car to my mechanic, the hose was replaced with a new one, the refrigerant was vacummed out and new r134a was put in, however now the a/c does not get as cold as it did before. Before I could put the a/c on 72 and it would be freezing, now I have to put it all the way down to 60 and it does not get freezing like it used to. I checked the gauge on the port and it said it was full. Is it possible that the refrigerant is not as good as the old stuff was? I don't understand why it is not getting as cold as it used to. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
